I have spent some time exploring the variety of visual landscapes present in this piece. One of the things I always try to do is distance myself from the piece & experience it for myself as a unique creative entity. Each piece has its own unique expressive code, I could not set out to recreate this piece and come anywhere close to replicating it. I often stand on the other side of completing work on something & wonder where these expressions emerge from. Are they from my mind? Is it a tangible way of working out and expressing feelings and emotions? All of the above? Either way, what results is always more than just paint on paper.

Thanks Laura! That’s cool, my work seems to generate faces quite a bit 🙂
