Complexity 2017

A new acrylic on paper.  This one captures the essence of the space I was in while creating it.  Truly lost in the sounds of jazz and the pleasure of a little wine.  Came together a little slower than typical but just decided to enjoy the journey on this one.

My most recent acrylic on paper.  I have been spending some time exploring Matisse’s work.  I love his use of color, his obliteration of the artistic conventions/traditions of his day, his fearlessness with his art, and feel a deep affinity for his work.  This painting is inspired by his work-its beauty, vibrancy, and fearlessness!

My most recent acrylic on paper.  Do you see faces?  What do you see when you view this piece, would love to hear your feedback!  Thanks friends.

My most recent acrylic on paper abstract piece.  I find that I’m most drawn from the upper left down through the center of the piece to the small squares in the bottom-center of the piece.
