A new piece that has a Kandinsky-like feel. I love his muted colors and his lyrical designs. This one just sort of came to life.

Wassily Kandinsky is a huge inspiration to me. This is my homage to his “Composition viii” (1923).
There are three modern painters (20th Century) who have influenced my work: Kandinsky, Klee, and Mondrian. This painting is done in the spirit of those three artists. Prints are available here.
