4 SepThe two, skinny black lines down the middle of this painting absolutely grab my attention and demand my focus. I painted this one before the painting I posted yesterday. The colors in this painting really appeal to me for some reason. I hope you find something in this piece that engages you and draws you in.

Crossing Lines (2015)
3 SepMy eleven year old son asked if I paint secret/hidden images into my paintings. I told him not on purpose. He said, “Well I see faces in this painting dad.” He pointed out a couple of places in the painting where he said he saw faces. I think it is interesting how every viewer of a work of art perceives and interprets that work. Until he pointed that out I’d have looked at this piece for a thousand years and never seen faces. I’ll be curious to hear how this piece connects and speaks to some of you as well. Thanks as always for taking the time to view and interact with my work!
