I liked it at first sight. Very strong, and somehow despite the gray, very warm.

I am doing well, thank you for asking, and thinking about transitions in art and life and writing myself. I am following your new directions with a lot of interest and I like what I am seeing.

Glad to hear that & excited to see what emerges as you ponder those transitions. Thanks for tracking with mine also. I have to say I’m tentatively feeling good about where things are heading too. Trying to keep it simple without over thinking it all, lol!!

Yes, me too. I have made art for so long with the idea that I would sell it (even if it’s in the back of the mind you still always know it is there, what others will think) and now I am “retiring” from this thought (though I still want to sell). There is a fine balance to be found. A freedom I have not understood as much as I would like to now.

Love this reflection Claudia! I’m honestly very excited for you & for the freedom to freely work without the idea of selling necessarily driving your work. Of course we all consider it, but to work without being overly cautious because of it-now that is freedom!

Yes. Thank you. I hope I can build the new habit. Our minds do want to run in the same groove as usual, but knowing that is maybe the first step in getting out of the rut.
