Newest piece. Used a super fine (.0005) illustrator’s pen to do the gridding on the floating ball coming through the center of the piece.

Hi Liz, thank you for stopping by to take a look at this new piece and for your comment! So nice to hear from you. This time of year is so inspiring for me artistically and I love the image you paint with your words, “The stove is lit, the nights are drawing in…” All is well here. Sounds like things have been busy for you. Any new commissions or new work that you’re taking on? Hope all is well for you too. Eli

thanks Eli, no new commissions, but I am delighted 2 have 20 paintings in a two woman show in a public gallery locally running through to November, and a solo show coming up in the Spring. Im busy working on a series of work based on the colours and textures of the shoreline, ‘mussels series’, fun and good for me too as I get lots of walks on the beach!

Liz, how nice that your new series takes you to the shoreline. That happens to be one of my favorite places and so inspiring. What are your plans for the spring show? Glad to hear things are going well!
