Entwine (Abstract)

The different hues in this one were enjoyable to play with.  Purple and violet are favorites for me.  There is something both comforting and mysterious about these colors.  They evoke peacefulness but also have an ethereal appeal.

I like the way the center of the piece is lighter than the rest. It makes the lines look like they are converging and meeting there!

Hollis good to hear from you. I agree with what you said. It does look like they are converging and meeting in the middle, great observation! So how are you?

Thanks for asking, Eli! We had snow and ice last week! Mostly ice. We were so afraid of losing power. Atlanta does not like ice storms and sometimes we over exaggerate. But this time, it was pretty much the way the weather guys predicted. My husband and I spent this much needed time, (since we could not go out) organizing his 10,000 vinyl jazz collection. And it was time well spent. We only have a few more things to do in that basement (renovated over the past year) and we will feel good about it! I posted our progress about the record collection on Facebook as we went along, so it was fun. Some of these guys are strange. In case you are a jazz fan, I won’t say much, but there is this one jazz musician, who back in the fifties, told everyone he was from Saturn!

That sounds like a really fun weekend together. Sometimes not being able to go anywhere has its perks! A 10,000 record collection is impressive. I have a musician brother who introduced me to a wide variety of music/musical styles growing up. I love jazz, especially jazz piano.
