This painting just started jumping off my brush and onto the watercolor paper yesterday.  Still working on shadow and light.  Some different brush technique emerged yesterday.  Tried to get out of my normal box a bit.

    love the way you”ve made the sun reflect in the grass. we were just talking about that yesterday. how low light catches wet grass. nice touch!

    The many short strokes for the grass works well. It give contour to the land. 🙂

      Thank you. The technique is a bit of a departure for me but I was pleased with the result.

    I like the way you show light coming from the left side of the tree. It really feels like sun.

        As this famous artist, Peter Forakis said to me once,”Never have any doubts!” When he died, he was written up in the New York Times. A HUGE article! (He was more well known than I thought he was when I worked with him)
